Obertraun

THE PLACE TO BE.

Obertraun is one  Community  in the  upper austrian
Salzkammergut  in the  district of Gmunden  in the  Traunviertel  with 743 inhabitants. Since 1997 the area around Obertraun and  hallstatt  to the  UNESCO World Heritage Site .
The little family one  location  is at 513 m altitude in the am 
Hallstatt Lake .

UNESCO - WORLD HERITAGE - SALZKAMMERGUT.

Hallstatt, also not officially Hallstatt on Lake Hallstatt, is one  market community  with 746 inhabitants. Together with the  Dachstein  and the  Inner Salzkammergut  does it belong to  UNESCO World Heritage Site Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut . According to finds in an extensive burial ground above the village, a period of the early Iron Age (800 to 450 BC) is called  Hallstatt period  designated.

Bad Aussee

GEOGRAPHICAL CENTER OF AUSTRIA

Bad Aussee is a spa town with 4911 inhabitants in the  Styria.  Bad Aussee is considered the main town of the  foreign countries . Bad Aussee is located at the confluence of the headwaters of the  dream  and owes its existence to  salt mine  at  Altaussee  and those associated with it  salt pans  (still before 1300). Bad Aussee describes itself historically as  geographic center of Austria  (represented by the center stone in the city spa park), which has now been refuted by modern calculation methods.

Bad Ischl

IMPERIAL CITY - CENTER OF THE SALZKAMMERGUT

The town of Bad Ischl is an Austrian  spa  at the  dream  in the  district of Gmunden  in the southern part of  Upper Austria  and in the center of  Salzkammergut . Bad Ischl has 14,109 inhabitants.

Bad Ischl is 468 m above sea level in Upper Austria.

Bad Goisern

ON LAKE HALLSTATT

Bad Goisern is 500 m above sea level  Traunviertel  in the  Inner Salzkammergut . The Bad Goiserer basin is a valley basin of the  Trauntal . To the west is the  Osterhorn group , in the east the  Dead Mountains . Northeast of the center is the widely visible  Eternal Wall , through which a panoramic trail runs

"CAREFREE VALLEY"

Gosau is located  widespread  at the  Gosaubach

Salzkammergut,  in one go  the  Gosau obligation

crossed side valley of  Trauntals , ending in the  Lake Hallstatt . The Gosau valley, which is completely occupied by the municipality, runs eastwards in a valley gorge, then turns south-eastwards and widens into a valley basin, the Gosau basin, which forms the main settlement area. From the village of Gosau, a road leads up to the Gosauschmied via the rear narrow valley  Front Gosausee , where there is a beautiful view of the  Dachstein  offers. From there the valley runs over the  Gosaulacke  and the  Rear Gosausee  in a south-westerly direction exactly on the main floor of the  Dachstein massif  to
